About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior AI Engineer to join our team in Lahore. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building AI-powered applications using modern frameworks and wants hands-on experience developing production-ready agentic systems.

You will work on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, AI agents, multi-agent workflows, and enterprise automation solutions while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered applications and agentic systems.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Build multi-agent workflows using LangGraph and related frameworks.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with APIs and external services.
• Develop backend services using Node.js.
• Build responsive frontend components using React.
• Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment workflows.
• Work with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic retrieval systems.
• Monitor application performance and continuously improve reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph and/or LangChain.
• Experience building RAG-based applications.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js backend development.
• Experience developing frontend applications using React.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI agents or multi-agent systems.
• Familiarity with LangSmith, MCP, AI evaluation frameworks, or observability tools.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience deploying AI applications into production.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal AI products.

Compensation
