Job Description
• $70–$115 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of medical AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the inpatient expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real clinicians. The teams building them need hospitalist physicians who can review realistic inpatient records, judge whether an AI’s interpretation is supported by the medical record, write the clinically accurate conclusion, and explain gaps or errors in the information. Your clinical judgment helps shape the next generation of medical AI and improve the quality of the data it learns from. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Review FHIR records and clinical notes alongside other information from inpatient charts to determine whether clinical claims are supported
• Assess the history of present illness, past medical history, assessment and plan in each case
• Check inpatient documentation for missing, incorrect or inconsistent information
• Apply review guidelines consistently and provide clear feedback on your findings and conclusions
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $70–$115 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work on AI systems that read inpatient charts, checking whether their clinical claims hold up against the documentation
• Build practical experience applying hospitalist judgment to AI chart review and clear model feedback
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Hold an MD or DO degree and board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics or Hospital Medicine
• Have current or recent inpatient or hospitalist experience from within the last two years
• Have a strong grasp of how inpatient records are documented and how hospitals operate, with professional fluency in English
• Close attention to detail, applying review standards the same way across every record
• No AI experience needed. You bring the hospitalist expertise; the work provides written review guidelines and structured chart-review tasks.
Pay and details
• $70–$115 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Part-time, flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
• Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.
