WFH Financial Advice Assistant (Trail)

Overview

Our client is looking for a Financial Advice Assistant (Trail) to join a growing financial advisory practice based in New Zealand that helps businesses scale effectively. In this role, you will act as the right hand to a busy financial advisor, taking ownership of key client communications and administrative support to keep operations running smoothly. Positioned at the center of client relationships, your attention to detail and proactive approach will directly drive client satisfaction. You will work with streamlined remote desktop technology while benefiting from comprehensive training designed for your success.

Schedule:

• Part- Time (20 hours per week) Monday to Friday 10 AM to 3 PM New Zealand TIme

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming client calls and respond to client inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Manage financial advice writing and correspondence on behalf of the advisor
• Utilize Trail software to track and manage client interactions and documentation
• Work through remote PC access to complete tasks using pre-configured systems and logins
• Follow detailed training materials including seven hours of video content to understand client workflows
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail across all client-facing communications
• Ask clarifying questions rather than making assumptions to ensure accuracy
• Adapt to fluctuating workload during busy and slow periods throughout the year

Requirements

• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proactive communication style with willingness to ask questions for clarity
• Ability to work independently with remote desktop technology
• Flexibility to manage variable workload between 10-20 hours per week
• Comfortable working without guaranteed hours during slower periods like holidays

Nice-to-Have

• Bonus if you have experience with Trail software for financial services
• It helps if you have prior experience in financial advice writing or client communication
