Senior Interior Designer

Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid Senior Interior Designer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design concepts from initial briefing through detailed design, coordinating closely with electro-mechanical and architectural teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing space plans, selecting FF&E, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, and ensuring designs align with project requirements and building standards. The role also involves guiding junior designers, presenting design proposals to stakeholders, and collaborating with consultants and contractors to maintain design integrity during execution. The Senior Interior Designer will contribute to project documentation, quality reviews, and design coordination meetings to support fully integrated and buildable solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to develop functional, aesthetically cohesive layouts.
• Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to produce and review detailed, buildable design documentation.
• Candidates should possess FF&E and material selection skills to specify finishes, furniture, and equipment aligned with project standards and budgets.
• Candidates should have proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Candidates should demonstrate experience in coordinating with MEP, structural, and architectural teams on complex projects.
• Candidates should have strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Candidates should ideally have 7+ years of relevant interior design experience, including senior or lead roles.
• Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
