Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Sr Production Support Engineer (Azure + SQL) to manage, maintain, and optimize our production support operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure, SQL Server and SSIS, with a focus on active monitoring, trouble shooting, performance tuning, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Production Support (US Hours): Ensure timely monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues during US business hours.
• Ensure Production Environment Stability: Maintain a reliable, secure, and high-performing production environment through proactive support and governance.
• Monitor and Optimize Performance: Continuously track system, application, and data pipeline performance, identifying and implementing optimization opportunities.
• Manage Incidents and Problem Resolution: Lead incident triage, root cause analysis (RCA), issue resolution, and preventive actions to minimize business impact.
• Support Data Pipelines and Integrations: Ensure seamless operation of data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes across platforms and applications.
• Drive Automation and Operational Excellence: Improve operational efficiency through automation, standardization, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, align data solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Follow SDLC best practices and work effectively with cross-functional teams using Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies across development, testing, QA, and production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• BE/BTech in IT/CS
• Azure Certifications Fundamental, Developer and Data Engineer
