Job Description
Job Title: Service Designer
Rate: £550 (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote - Occasional travel per month
Clearance: BPSS
Stages: 1 Stage
Key Responsibilities
- Map end-to-end user journeys and service blueprints.
- Identify pain points and opportunities to improve existing services.
- Work collaboratively with user researchers, product managers, developers and policy teams.
- Facilitate workshops and use research insights to inform service design decisions.
- Ensure services meet accessibility requirements and GOV.UK Service Standards.
- Support agile delivery and communicate design recommendations to stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Designer within government or large organisations.
- Strong experience in user journey mapping, service blueprints and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of GDS Service Standards and the GOV.UK Service Manual.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary agile teams.
- Strong communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills
