Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary:

Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. Skilled in Python, Bash, CloudFormation, Docker, Linux, and infrastructure automation, with strong experience in test automation, cloud reliability, and deployment optimization.

Role & responsibilities:

• Designed and maintained AWS infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Python, TypeScript, and Bash.
• Developed and maintained CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and AWS services.
• Implemented automated testing for infrastructure code and integrated test coverage into CI/CD pipelines.
• Managed Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management across cloud environments.
• Automated AWS services including EC2, VPC, ELB, Lambda, API Gateway, CodePipeline, and CodeCommit.
• Monitored system performance, reliability, capacity, and availability to meet SLA and security standards.
• Troubleshot infrastructure and deployment issues and implemented reusable automation solutions.
• Maintained infrastructure documentation, configuration inventories, and operational standards.
• Collaborated with engineering teams in an Agile SDLC to plan and deliver DevOps solutions.
• Mentored junior engineers and promoted best practices in automation, CI/CD, testing, and cloud infrastructure.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Software Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, Bash, and CI/CD automation.
• Strong experience in infrastructure test automation and Agile SDLC practices.
• Good knowledge of AWS services, networking, Linux, Docker, and configuration management.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience building secure, scalable, reliable, and reusable cloud automation solutions.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

This is a remote position with working hours aligned to international team operations and business requirements.
