Senior Staff Software Engineer

Senior Staff Software Engineer :

We’re looking for an exceptional hands-on engineer who can take a problem from idea → architecture → code → production.

This is a high-ownership IC role at ResultFlow. You’ll own important technical areas end-to-end, work directly with product and engineering, and solve ambiguous problems at scale.

What you’ll work on:

• Build and own full-stack systems end-to-end

• Design backend APIs, integrations, distributed systems and data pipelines

• Build frontend experiences that integrate with third-party websites

• Work with browser fundamentals, rendering, DOM, networking and performance

• Build production systems using Python/Java and modern cloud infrastructure

• Work with AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes/ECS/VPS and observability

• Design systems handling large-scale data, warehouses, queues and caching

• Build and integrate LLM-powered systems, RAG and agentic workflows

• Debug production issues and improve reliability, latency and performance

• Make technical trade-offs where requirements are ambiguous

• Raise the engineering bar through design, code reviews and technical thinking — without being a people manager

What we’re looking for:

• 6–12+ years of strong software engineering experience

• Proven ownership of complex systems spanning multiple components

• Strong backend and distributed-systems fundamentals

• Strong frontend/browser understanding

• Experience with APIs, authentication and third-party integrations

• Production experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment

• Strong database, caching, networking and performance fundamentals

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and understanding of their failure modes

• Strong engineering judgment and ability to work independently

• Someone who learns quickly, moves with urgency and communicates clearly

Strong plus:

• A/B testing, experimentation, personalization or instrumentation

• ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka, queues/streaming or other data-intensive systems

• Data warehouses and large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines

• Deep production debugging and performance optimization

• Experience building AI/LLM products in production

This is a hands-on engineering role — not a management role.

We care more about what you have built, owned and shipped than titles.

The process is work-first. You’ll work on a practical engineering problem and then discuss your implementation, architecture, technical decisions and trade-offs with the team.

AI coding tools are welcome. We expect you to understand, explain and defend everything you ship.
