Job Description
About the Role
The successful candidate will review and prepare customer artwork for production, ensuring files meet print specifications and identifying potential issues before manufacturing. The role will also provide backup support to Customer Service, including order processing and customer communication.
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a good understanding of print production and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
PrePress & Artwork Management
- Review and prepare customer artwork for print production.
- Ensure files meet print specifications, including bleed, trapping, overprinting, die lines, imposition, and colour profiles.
- Identify and resolve artwork issues and maintain accurate file version control.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Production teams on artwork and print requirements.
Production & Customer Service Support
- Manage artwork priorities and ensure files meet production deadlines.
- Identify production risks and recommend solutions.
- Provide backup support for order processing, customer enquiries, and artwork-related questions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of prepress experience.
- Hands-on experience preparing print-ready artwork for both digital and flexographic printing.
- Experience working with Australian companies and understanding Australian business and customer service standards.
- Packaging industry experience, ideally with printed packaging and consumables.
- Strong English communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in label printing, commercial print production, or packaging.
- Previous customer service or order processing experience.
