VP of Product Strategy

Overview

As VP of Product Strategy, you’ll set product direction and connect customer needs, business priorities, and technology decisions. You’ll guide product and engineering leaders in turning data and market insight into clear roadmaps, sound investments, and useful enterprise solutions. Your impact: Aligning product strategy with secure, reliable delivery helps customers and teams benefit from technology that meets real needs.

Duties

• Define product vision, portfolio priorities, and roadmaps; use analysis skills and data-driven decision making to guide choices.
• Lead cross-functional team management across product, software development, architecture, IT, and executive leadership; strengthen communication and accountability.
• Oversee software development teams and technical architecture, including application development, system design, APIs, databases, data warehouses, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Guide Agile delivery, software development life cycle (SDLC), DevOps, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), cloud infrastructure, and change management.
• Manage budgets, vendors, risks, governance, and business continuity planning; align information security, network security, disaster recovery, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards.

Skills

• Required: Senior leadership, strategic management, executive-level team management, technology team management, project management, budgeting, negotiation, and cross-functional communication.
• Required: Technical proficiency and experience managing architecture or engineering teams, software engineering, technical project and program manager supervision, and enterprise solutions implementation.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, cloud computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), Python, Java, C#,.NET, JavaScript, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, PHP, Node.js, React, Angular, CSS, HTML, and Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Preferred: Knowledge of PCI, Linux, vSphere, virtualization, SAN, VPN, MPLS, WAN, VoIP, DNS, firewalls, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, network administration, server management, help desk, and intellectual property law.

Pay: $282,000.00 - $322,000.00 per year
