Juanes@red Java + AWS Developer – 12 months + ext. – Remote (UK)
On behalf of one of our key partners, RED is hiring a Java + AWS Developer for an AWS-based cloud delivery project.
The initial contract runs for 12 months , starting on 1st December 2026 .
This role offers a flexible working model:
- Remote (UK-based) with occasional ad-hoc travel to London if required.
Specific skills/experience required:
- Strong experience in Java development (preferably Java 17+).
- Proven expertise with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.v
- Hands-on exposure to core AWS services in production environments (e.g., Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS).
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Docker containerisation.
- Experience with automated testing tools (JUnit, Mockito).
- Desirable: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK), event-driven systems (Kafka, SNS/SQS), or monitoring tools (ELK, CloudWatch).
- Active SC Clearance is strictly required.
