We’re seeking motivated, personable Design Consultants to guide homeowners through customized solutions for motorized shades, pergolas, and frameless glass walls. You’ll combine design, product education, and consultative selling to help customers create spaces they love.

Description

As a Shade Doctor Design Consultant, you’ll meet with homeowners, understand their needs, evaluate their outdoor spaces, and present personalized recommendations. You’ll own the sales experience from the initial conversation through the signed agreement and a thorough handoff to our operations team.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct professional in-home consultations and build rapport with homeowners.
• Ask thoughtful questions to understand each customer’s goals, concerns, and budget.
• Measure project openings and document site conditions.
• Present product options, colors, fabrics, and design visualizations.
• Explain pricing, financing options, warranties, and installation expectations clearly.
• Address questions confidently and help homeowners move forward with their purchase.
• Maintain accurate customer records, proposals, and contracts in our CRM.
• Submit complete project details, measurements, and photos to support installation.
• Participate in training, coaching, and role-playing to sharpen your skills.
• Meet sales goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Experience in in-home sales, home improvement, window treatments, outdoor living, or design consultation is preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
