AVAM is looking for a highly creative, proactive Graphic Designer who brings fresh ideas and has the skills to bring them to life. This role is ideal for an idea-driven designer who enjoys working across print and digital media, solving creative challenges, and developing concepts into polished, production-ready work.

You will support our Creative Brand Designer and collaborate with the broader team to create thoughtful, consistent design across the AVAM brand.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute creative concepts, from initial exploration through final production.

Design a range of print and digital materials, including packaging, marketing collateral, presentations, stationery, signage, and more.

Use typography, imagery, color, and layout to create clear, compelling visual communication.

Support the development and application of AVAM’s visual identity across brand touchpoints.

Prepare accurate, organized files for print production and digital delivery.

Collaborate with the broader team to refine ideas, incorporate feedback, and move projects forward.

Take initiative by contributing ideas, asking thoughtful questions, and identifying opportunities to improve the work.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, thoughtful typography, layout skills, and attention to detail.

2+ years of graphic design experience.

Working proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.

The ability to translate ideas into effective designs and carry them through production with team support.

Familiarity with print and digital design requirements, including file preparation, resolution, color modes, and bleed.

Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

A collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and a proactive approach to creative problem-solving.

Experience collaborating with marketing and scientific or manufacturing teams.

Eligible to work in the United States.

Formal education in graphic design, visual communication, fine arts, or a related field is a plus.

Experience designing for a scientific or technical environment, such as biotech, lab products, research, or manufacturing-related brands, is a plus.

Availability for one-off rush production deadlines is a plus.
