Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale technology initiatives in a complex enterprise environment. This role is responsible for managing projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, experience leading cross-functional teams, and a proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. Success in this role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance competing priorities while driving project outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Project Coordination & Execution

• Manage medium to large projects from initiation through closure.
• Create, review, and maintain project management plans, schedules, risk logs, issue logs, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and lessons learned.
• Monitor project milestones, tasks, and deliverables against approved baselines.
• Identify project variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain project documentation and artifacts according to document management standards.
• Support project portfolio maintenance activities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, vendors, and contracted resources.
• Schedule, prepare for, and facilitate project meetings.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and progress to stakeholders.
• Escalate and address project issues in a timely manner.
• Support a collaborative team environment that promotes productivity and successful project delivery.

Governance & Process Management

• Manage projects according to approved governance policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standard operating procedures.
• Support updates to governance manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Apply PMBOK best practices including cost management, resource management, risk management, benefits analysis, and change control.
• Partner with leadership to establish project performance expectations.

Technology & Delivery Management

• Utilize the Atlassian tool suite to manage milestones, tasks, and deliverables.
• Support Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure successful project implementation.
• Track project progress and provide recommendations to address project variances.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing large, complex, multi-year projects.
• Thorough knowledge of PMBOK project management practices.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience with IT governance methodologies, tools, and approaches supporting successful project implementations.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project, and Visio.
• Intermediate knowledge of the Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce technology.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification.
• Agile Certifications.
• Scrum Master Certification.
• Experience working in state government environments.
• Knowledge of IV-D and Child Support Enforcement business processes.
