Pay Rate: $93.17/hour or higher

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate will have strong platform development expertise, experience building custom applications, and the ability to mentor developers while ensuring security, scalability, and platform best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
• Build and maintain custom applications using App Engine Studio and scoped applications.
• Develop server-side scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Scripted REST APIs.
• Configure UI Policies, Client Scripts, Configurable Workspace, and UI Builder.
• Implement inbound and outbound integrations using Scripted REST APIs and IntegrationHub.
• Apply platform security, access controls, naming conventions, and architectural standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Support platform upgrades, release governance, and technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and change reviews.
• Mentor developers and review code for quality and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with App Engine Studio and custom application development.
• 3+ years of experience with scoped applications and platform APIs.
• 3+ years of experience with Configurable Workspace, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and UI Builder.
• 3+ years of experience with Scripted REST APIs and IntegrationHub.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery, platform governance, and code reviews.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow security, access controls, and development best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification or equivalent ITSM experience.
• Experience with GlideRecord, Flow Designer, REST integrations, JSON, and Platform Analytics.
• Strong technical documentation and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Information

• Atlanta-area candidates are strongly preferred; fully remote candidates are acceptable.
• Candidates must be available to start no later than two weeks after selection.
• Absences exceeding two weeks require advance approval.
• Assignment is contingent on renewal and funding.

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
