Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and redesign complex analog circuits, with a focus on precision linear regulators.
  • Perform worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA), tolerance analysis, stability analysis, and electrical parts stress analysis.
  • Design and evaluate circuits utilizing radiation-hardened, MIL-SPEC discrete semiconductor components.
  • Assess circuit performance, feedback loops, voltage regulation, transient response, and protection circuitry.
  • Identify design limitations, evaluate technical risks, and implement reliable engineering solutions.
  • Support radiation testing, component selection, and design verification for mission-critical hardware.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges and document design recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • Analog Circuit Design
  • Worst-Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA)
  • Radiation Testing and Radiation-Hardened Electronics
  • Electrical Parts Stress Analysis

  • Demonstrated expertise in complex linear regulator design using discrete semiconductor components.
  • Experience with MIL-SPEC, radiation-hardened components in space, aerospace, nuclear, or defense applications.
  • Strong understanding of circuit stability, compensation, feedback control, and high-reliability electronic design.
  • Ability to independently evaluate and redesign complex existing circuitry with minimal onboarding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with total ionizing dose (TID) and single event effects (SEE).
  • Background supporting spaceflight, strategic defense, or nuclear-hardened electronic systems.
  • Experience with high-reliability component qualification, design verification, and environmental requirements.
