Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee airport baggage handling system installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airport or general construction, project management, team supervision, and coordination with customers, subcontractors, and airport authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage baggage handling system installation projects from planning through completion.
• Ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, contract requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, construction, and installation activities.
• Supervise project teams and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, billing, and subcontractor performance.
• Maintain project documentation, including budgets, schedules, change orders, and progress reports.
• Coordinate material deliveries and site activities to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with airport regulations, building codes, and safety requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, airlines, contractors, and airport authorities.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop project plans and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in general or airport construction.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Project Manager, Field Superintendent, or equivalent.
• Experience managing construction projects and leading project teams.
• Knowledge of airport baggage handling systems and related construction practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it within 6 months.
• PMP certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening, and airport badging requirements.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
