Job Summary

Mitchell Wellness & Recovery Services, in partnership with ForwardCare, is expanding our clinical team in California! We are seeking passionate, skilled, and dedicated mental health professionals to provide services within our Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) programs.

Location: Sacramento, California
Service Delivery: Virtual/Telehealth
Specialties: Mental Health & Substance Use Disorders (SUD)

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

We are seeking California-licensed behavioral health professionals, including:

✅ Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs)
✅ Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFTs)
✅ Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs)
✅ Clinicians experienced in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate structured IOP/PHP therapeutic groups.
• Provide evidence-based treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Implement interventions utilizing CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and participate in treatment planning.
• Support clients in developing sustainable coping skills, emotional regulation, and long-term recovery strategies.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

✔ Active, unrestricted California clinical license
✔ Experience facilitating therapeutic groups
✔ Background in SUD treatment, mental health, or dual-diagnosis care
✔ Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
✔ Comfortable providing services through a virtual treatment platform
✔ Passionate about accessible, high-quality behavioral healthcare
