Junior Full Stack Developer

Role Description The Junior Full Stack Developer will work on both front-end and back-end features for Superfan.ng’s web and mobile experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, integrating APIs, maintaining and improving existing code, and supporting the development of new product features and gamified quiz flows. The role also involves collaborating with designers and product team members, troubleshooting bugs, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews. This is a full-time remote role, requiring reliable communication, self-management, and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development, including proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development, with familiarity in server-side frameworks, APIs, and database integration.
• Candidates should possess skills in Full-Stack Development and general Software Development, including version control (e.g., Git) and debugging practices.
• Candidates should possess the ability to write clean, maintainable code and learn new tools and frameworks quickly.
• Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React or Vue) and back-end technologies (such as Node.js or Python) is beneficial.
• Interest in African languages, culture, or edtech products, and experience working in remote or distributed teams, is an advantage.
