Job Description
About Grocery Post
Grocery Post is a premium neighbourhood grocery and café. We opened in 2020 and have stores in Highgate and West Hampstead. This year we served over a million customers. Our customers rate us highly (an NPS of 82), and our loyalty scheme is popular with customers. We’re due to open a third store, in north London, in early 2027.
Our underlying purpose is to create warm and friendly neighbourhood hangouts where people can pick up exceptional food and drink and be happier in their daily lives.
We’ve grown through service and reputation, not advertising. We’re now looking for our first dedicated marketer to make our communities hear more from us, more often about what matters to them.
Our friendly team is passionate about the company we are building and excited about what this role will bring to the business.

- Manage our reputation on Google and social media, responding to reviews and comments in our voice
- Produce flyers and seasonal campaign material
- Write two press releases a year and build relationships with editors
- Report monthly on loyalty, reviews, social growth and campaign results
About you

- You can shoot and edit your own content and can show accounts you’ve grown
- You’ve run an email or loyalty programme and can show the results
- You’ve launched a site, product or local campaign from scratch
- You write well without being reliant on LLMs, from flyers to social posts and review replies to a full press release
- You’re comfortable working where brand is protected
- You’re organised enough to run a launch on three days a week
The details
- £42,500 pro rated for a 24 hour three day week
- It is possible to work 24 hours over 4 days if that suits
- Starting December 2026 or January 2027
