Part-Time Grant Writer

RFP / Grant Writer - Remote - 15-20 hours per week

Our client is looking for an experienced RFP/Grant Writer to support their law firm focused on representing public-sector and governmental clients. This role will lead the development of compelling, compliant proposals, RFP responses, grant applications, and other business development materials. This role is fully remote and 15-20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and write responses to RFPs, RFQs, grant opportunities, and government solicitations.
• Partner with attorneys and firm leadership to develop customized, persuasive proposal content.
• Research public-sector opportunities and understand submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and deadlines.
• Translate complex legal experience and capabilities into clear, client-focused messaging.
• Maintain and update proposal templates, attorney bios, representative matters, and reusable content.
• Coordinate the proposal process from initial opportunity through final submission.
• Ensure submissions are accurate, polished, compliant, and delivered on time.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of proposal, RFP, grant, or professional-services writing experience.
• Strong writing, editing, project-management, and organizational skills.
• Experience with government/public-sector RFPs strongly preferred.
• Law firm, legal services, government contracting, or other professional-services experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate effectively with attorneys and senior leadership.
