Job Description
Real people, real ink.
Longhand (longhandmail.com) sends handwritten letters for real estate agents. Real people write them by hand, at home. We’re adding writers in Pennsylvania.
What you do
- Take a list of names and addresses, plus the letterhead, envelopes, stamps and a pen we provide.
- Handwrite a short letter and address an envelope by hand for each name.
- Keep the stack in list order and hand it back by the date on the list.
- Choose which lists you take, and when and where you write. Passing on a list is always fine. There are no quotas.
Pay
- Per finished letter: $0.60 to start, then $0.68, $0.74 and $0.78 as you finish lists cleanly and on time.
- Organized-batch bonus: +$0.05 per letter when a batch comes back in order, dated, counted and on time.
- Referral: $50 when someone you refer finishes their first list, $100 more after their third.
- Paid for every finished letter when your batch is counted.
What you need
- Clear, legible handwriting. We’ll ask for a short sample.
- 18 or older, living in Pennsylvania.
- Care with details: names and addresses written exactly as listed, and the list kept private.
- A W-9 and a signed independent contractor agreement before your first paid batch.
This is independent contractor work (1099), not employment. How much you earn depends on how many lists you choose to write. We can’t promise a set amount of work or income.
