Position Overview
We are seeking an Architectural Design / Building Design Consultant to support building design projects from initial concepts through design development. The role involves preparing drawings, discussing requirements with clients, and coordinating with project teams to ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and technical expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, building layouts, and design proposals.
- Consult with clients to understand project requirements and recommend suitable design solutions.
- Develop 2D drawings, 3D models, and visual presentations.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Review design details and make revisions based on project feedback.
- Assist with project documentation and ensure drawings meet relevant requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Building Design, or a related discipline.
- Experience in architectural design or building consultancy is an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software.
- Good understanding of building design principles and technical drawings.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet project deadlines.
