Job Description

Overview

As a Power BI Developer, you’ll turn business questions into clear, useful analytics. You’ll work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, shape reliable data models, and build dashboards that help teams make informed decisions. Your impact: By delivering accurate, accessible insights, you help business users understand performance and act with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models; apply data visualization and dashboard development practices to make findings easy to interpret.
  • Gather and document needs through business analysis and requirements analysis; manage queries and reporting priorities with project management practices.
  • Build and support ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and SQL database solutions, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle; contribute to database design and data model design.
  • Analyze data using SQL and Excel data analysis, and apply data analytics tools and linked data where appropriate.
  • Collaborate across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including software development lifecycle analysis and Agile delivery; support quality, documentation, and ongoing improvements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated Power BI and business intelligence experience, with strong data analysis and analysis skills, technical proficiency, and a focus on analytics.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, SQL databases, ETL, and data modeling; experience with Microsoft SQL Server is relevant.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting tools such as Python, R, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
  • Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools; Tableau and Looker are useful additional platforms.
  • Exposure to Talend, Visio, Agile methods, and project management is beneficial; equivalent experience with data analytics tools is welcome.

Pay: $92,300.00 - $112,000.00 per year
