About the Opportunity

We are hiring an Interior Designer on behalf of a reputed organisation in the premium home furnishings and interior décor industry.

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented professional with a strong aesthetic sense, an understanding of interior styling, and the ability to bring design concepts to life.

This is a dedicated interior design position based at the company’s head office, with no sales or business development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative interior design concepts, mood boards, colour palettes and material combinations.
• Assist in planning and visualising interior spaces in line with design requirements.
• Work with furnishing elements such as fabrics, curtains, upholstery, wallpapers and decorative finishes.
• Prepare design presentations, layouts and visual references.
• Coordinate internally to ensure design concepts are practical, aesthetically appealing and aligned with project requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging interior design trends, materials and finishes.
• Maintain design documentation and support the execution of approved concepts.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
• Sound understanding of colour theory, space planning, materials and interior aesthetics.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop or other relevant design software will be an advantage.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional office environment.
• Freshers with a strong portfolio and relevant practical exposure may also apply.
