Job Description
• $140–$400 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the FDA expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal experts. The teams building them need FDA regulatory attorneys who can create realistic compliance scenarios, judge how well the AI handles them, write the answer a practicing lawyer would give, and explain exactly where the reasoning falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI models for specialized legal work. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Create realistic scenario-based questions from FDA rules, guidance and statutory requirements
• Review the AI’s analysis of regulatory submissions and compliance procedures for accuracy
• Write clear expert answers on regulatory risk and liability
• Explain where the AI misses legal requirements and how to improve its guidance
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $140–$400 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most FDA regulatory attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping FDA regulatory law and the people who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• A Juris Doctor degree and an active license issued for legal practice in the United States
• At least five years working on FDA legal matters involving regulatory strategy or compliance, with a background in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or life sciences
• Fluent English and strong knowledge of federal regulatory procedures, including submission routes and compliance protocols
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $140–$400 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
