Job Description
• $140–$400 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the civil rights expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal experts. The teams building them need civil rights lawyers who can create realistic legal problems, judge whether the AI’s analysis is accurate and relevant, write the answer a professional would give, and explain exactly where the reasoning falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI models and legal tools. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Evaluate civil rights statutes and court decisions for relevance, accuracy, and alignment with applicable legal standards
• Research legal issues and draft clear case summaries, memoranda, and analyses of key precedents
• Develop realistic civil rights fact patterns and hypothetical legal scenarios for AI model development
• Evaluate legal analyses produced by AI, flag errors, and spell out where the reasoning breaks down
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $140–$400 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most civil rights lawyers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping civil rights law, and the lawyers who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Hold a Juris Doctor awarded by an accredited law school
• Have bar admission in one or more jurisdictions
• Have substantial experience in civil rights practice, plus professional fluency in English
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $140–$400 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
