Job Description
• $100–$170 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work at the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the legal judgment you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real attorneys. The teams building them need legal professionals who can create realistic legal scenarios, judge AI-generated analyses and documents, write the answer a sound legal professional would give, and explain exactly where the reasoning falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI models. This is that work, done remotely around your current legal practice.
What you’ll do
• Analyze legal scenarios involving litigation and corporate transactions
• Review AI-generated legal analyses and contracts for accuracy and soundness
• Call out the main legal issues and risks, along with missing information, unsupported conclusions and gaps in reasoning
• When legal readings conflict, explain the competing positions and set out the correction clearly
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $100–$170 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal practice, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• Hold a Juris Doctor from a U.S. law school
• Hold an active bar license covering a U.S. state or the District of Columbia; one jurisdiction is enough
• More than three years practicing substantive law since earning your J.D., along with strong legal reasoning and legal writing skills
• No experience in AI training work needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $100–$170 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
