Job Description
• $70–$110 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of AI threat assessment, on your own schedule, and get paid for the cyber intelligence judgment you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real cyber threat intelligence professionals. The teams building them need experts who can create difficult threat scenarios, judge the quality of an AI response, document the reasoning a professional would expect, and explain where the system falls short or refuses a legitimate request. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI models for threat assessment. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Create evaluation cases that set boundaries for defensive threat analysis, including surveillance and attribution requests
• Grade model responses for source reliability and analytic reasoning
• Record how models handle nation-state campaigns and advanced threats at the margins of defensive analysis
• Provide brief, specific written and spoken feedback on limitations, practical value, and unjustified refusals of legitimate analysis
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $70–$110 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, gaining exposure that most cyber threat intelligence professionals will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping cyber threat intelligence, and the people who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Produce clear, well-organized written work and communicate effectively in spoken English
• Bring substantial professional experience analyzing cyber threat intelligence from nation-state operations or advanced threats
• Use sound judgment when separating defensive analysis from offensive or surveillance-focused requests, drawing on work such as attributing threat actors, tracking APTs, or analyzing adversary tactics and techniques
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $70–$110 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
