Job Description
• $55–$60 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Put your practical plan-review expertise to work on the cutting edge of AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the experience you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real experts. The teams building them need professionals who can create realistic plan-review tasks, judge whether AI assessments are accurate and feasible, write the answer an experienced practitioner would give, and explain exactly where the AI falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI models for technical work. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Review advanced machining drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing specifications for accuracy and practical use
• Analyze CNC setup and programming documents for sound practices and troubleshooting concerns
• Evaluate construction plan sheets and drilling or mine plans for missing information, feasibility and compliance concerns
• Review fire and building plans for safety and compliance, and explain how technical plans translate into field implementation decisions
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $55–$60 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most people in machining, construction, drilling, mining and fire safety will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping technical plan review, and the professionals who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• At least 10 years as a master machinist, construction superintendent, drilling engineer, mine planner, cabinetmaker or fire officer
• Strong experience interpreting technical drawings and field plans, with expertise in CNC programming, machining processes and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Professional fluency in English, broad knowledge of US construction, fire or mining codes and standards, and the ability to explain complex shop and field situations clearly
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $55–$60 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
