Job Description: DevOps / Cloud Automation Engineer (AWS & Databricks)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps & Cloud Automation Engineer with strong expertise in AWS infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and Databricks platform deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring security, compliance, automation, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Deploy and maintain scalable AWS environments including VPC, IAM, S3, KMS, Security Groups, Route53, and networking components.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes to reduce manual intervention.
• Deploy and manage Databricks workspaces across multiple environments.
• Configure and maintain OKTA/SAML-based authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
• Design automation frameworks that capture and maintain audit evidence, compliance artifacts, and deployment records.
• Manage cloud security, access controls, and governance best practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and integration issues across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Security, Data, and Platform teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• 3+ years of experience managing AWS infrastructure at scale.

• Strong expertise in:

• AWS VPC
• IAM
• S3
• KMS

• Networking & Security

• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD automation tools such as:

• GitHub Actions
• GitLab CI

• Jenkins

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing Databricks Workspaces.
• Experience integrating OKTA with SAML/SSO authentication frameworks.

• Proven experience in building automation solutions that support:

• Compliance requirements
• Audit evidence collection

• Dependency management

• Experience with Git-based source control and release management.

Good to Have

• Experience with Python, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of Security and Compliance frameworks.
• Experience working in enterprise cloud environments.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
