Job Description
Role: Azure migration
Experience: 8 to 12 years
Location: Hyderabad / Pune Only
JD:
Migration Discovery & Assessment (PreSales and Delivery)
- Lead Azure readiness assessments, application discovery, and dependency analysis.
- Classify workloads using 6R migration strategies aligned to customer business objectives.
- Validate assessment outputs produced by offshore or assessment teams before migration execution
- Input into proposals, RFP responses, and Microsoftfunded (ECIF/AMM) migration plans.
Target Architecture & Migration Design
- Design Azure targetstate architectures including:
- Azure App Service, Azure SQL / SQL MI, Azure Functions
- Azure Load Balancer, API Management, Azure Storage, ADF
- Lead database replatforming using: Azure DMS / DMA / Azure Data Studio
- ]Runtime upgrades (.NET, Java, IIS, middleware)
- Database migration to Azure SQL / SQL MI / Oracle on Azure VM
- Define cutover, rollback, and fallback strategies for replatformed workloads.
- Create detailed migration runbooks and validation checklists
