Developer PHP - Responso

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Developer PHP – Responso based in Brazil. In this fully remote opportunity, you will contribute to the development of an innovative SaaS platform transforming customer service for e-commerce businesses worldwide. You will build and maintain reliable, high-performance software that connects merchants with major online marketplaces, social media platforms, and messaging channels. Working with PHP and Symfony, you will tackle complex technical challenges involving large-scale data processing, API integrations, and machine learning-powered solutions. Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications: Design, implement, and optimize robust backend solutions using PHP and the Symfony framework, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Build and integrate APIs: Develop and maintain REST APIs and external integrations connecting the platform with e-commerce marketplaces, messaging services, and social media channels.
• Work with data-intensive systems: Contribute to applications that process large volumes of data, leveraging technologies such as Elasticsearch, Doctrine, and RabbitMQ to support efficient data management and asynchronous processing.
• Maintain code quality: Apply object-oriented programming principles, dependency injection, PSR standards, and clean coding practices to deliver reliable, maintainable software.
• Collaborate on technical solutions: Work closely with the development team and technical founders to design system improvements, solve complex engineering challenges, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Participate in code reviews and testing: Review code, write and maintain tests, and use static analysis tools to improve software reliability and prevent regressions.
• Optimize integrations and performance: Troubleshoot technical issues, improve API reliability, and ensure seamless communication between the platform and external services.
• Contribute to product innovation: Help evolve a SaaS platform that incorporates machine learning and advanced data processing to improve e-commerce customer service workflows.
• Continuously improve development practices: Identify opportunities to enhance the codebase, streamline development processes, and introduce technical improvements that support long-term product growth.

Requirements

• PHP expertise: Excellent knowledge of PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.2, including object-oriented programming, PSR standards, and dependency injection.
• Symfony experience: Strong practical knowledge of Symfony 4.x and 6.x, with the ability to develop and maintain applications using the framework.
• Database and messaging technologies: Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Doctrine, and RabbitMQ, including their use in data-intensive applications and asynchronous processing.
• API development: Proven experience creating and integrating REST APIs, ideally involving third-party services and complex integration requirements.
• Code quality and best practices: Ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable code and apply sound software engineering principles.
• Version control: Experience using Git for version control and collaborative software development.
• Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
• Autonomy and accountability: A proactive, organized, and dependable approach to work, with strong time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Remote collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, communicate clearly with colleagues, and manage responsibilities independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining SaaS applications.
