AI Automation Engineer (Claude Code + Grok)

About the Role

Youll design, build, and maintain AI-powered automations across our ad operations, lead handling, sales follow-up, and content workflows. You’ll use Claude Code as your primary development environment and integrate both Claude and Grok models into production systems. This is a hands-on build role: you’ll own projects end to end, from scoping with the founder to deploying and monitoring.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship automations using Claude Code, from internal tools and scripts to full integrations
• Integrate the Anthropic (Claude) and xAI (Grok) APIs into lead qualification, follow-up, reporting, and content pipelines, choosing the right model for each task
• Connect our stack (Meta Ads, CRMs, calendars, email/SMS, webinar platforms, Google Sheets) through APIs, webhooks, and MCP servers
• Automate campaign reporting, lead routing, and client-facing dashboards
• Write and iterate on prompts, evals, and guardrails so outputs are reliable in production
• Document what you build so the team can use and maintain it
• Monitor, debug, and improve live automations, keeping cost and latency in check

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years building software or automations in Python and/or Node.js
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code (please share examples of what you’ve built with it)
• Practical experience calling LLM APIs in production; Grok/xAI experience is a strong plus
• Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and authentication (OAuth, API keys)
• Experience with at least one automation platform (n8n, Make, or Zapier)
• Able to take a loosely defined business problem and turn it into a working system
• Clear written English and reliable async communication with a North American team

Nice to Have

• Experience with Meta Marketing API or other ad platform APIs
• Built MCP servers or AI agents
• Background in marketing, lead gen, or agency operations
• Experience with GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or similar CRMs
