Customer Service & Order Coordinator – Seafood

SouthFresh Foods supplies frozen seafood to Restaurants, Foodservice distributors and Wholesale Suppliers. We’re looking for an organized, detail-driven Customer Service & Order Coordinator to keep orders moving accurately from customer to freezer to invoice. You’ll be the hub between our customers, warehouses, freight carriers, and sales team.

What You’ll Do

Customer Orders & Communication

• Enter customer orders in our ERP system and send order confirmations
• Serve as a point of contact for customers on order status, changes, and questions
• Coordinate customer and broker sample requests and approvals

Shipping & Freight

• Send orders to the shipping warehouse
• Coordinate freight when needed: request quotes, book carriers, and communicate between customers, carriers, and warehouses
• Process inventory transfers between warehouses, including freight charges

Invoicing & Documentation

• Invoice orders and process EDI transactions as required
• Receive purchase orders and code invoices
• Match automated BOLs from the freezer with signed copies
• Prepare and distribute sales reports

Inventory

• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Conduct monthly inventory counts

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years in customer service, order entry, logistics, or office administration (food distribution experience a plus)
• Comfort with ERP or order management software; EDI experience a strong plus
• Strong attention to detail. You’ll catch the mismatch before the customer does
• Clear, professional communication by phone and email
• Ability to juggle multiple orders and deadlines without losing track
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
