Registered Children's Home Manager

Banks Morgan is partnering with a growing children’s residential care provider to recruit a Registered Manager for a new children’s home in Redbridge, East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager to lead a service, build a strong team and create a safe, therapeutic environment where children can thrive.

With the home already Ofsted registered, you’ll have the opportunity to shape its culture, drive high standards and make a lasting difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a new children’s home
• Recruit and develop your team
• Promote therapeutic, child-led care
• Ensure Ofsted compliance
• Oversee safeguarding and care plans
• Manage audits and quality standards

You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance, reporting and documentation, ensuring the home consistently delivers safe and effective care.

Essential Requirements

• Registered or Deputy Manager experience
• Level 5 Diploma or willingness to achieve
• Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma
• Strong safeguarding knowledge
• Experience with Ofsted inspections
• Knowledge of Regulations 44 and 45
• Proven leadership skills
• Eligibility for Ofsted registration

Desirable Experience

Experience opening a new children’s home and knowledge of trauma-informed care would be advantageous
