Founding AI Engineer (Part-Time Equity)

We’re an early-stage startup building AI agents that do real work for businesses , not just chatbots.

We’ve validated the problem through early customer conversations and are now building our first product. We’re looking for a Founding AI Engineer who wants to build from zero, take ownership, and help shape the product and company.

🛠️ What You’ll Work On

• AI Agents: Design and build LLM-powered agents using prompting, tool calling, memory, orchestration, and evaluations.
• Full-Stack Development: Build backend APIs, dashboards, and integrations with third-party platforms.
• Production Engineering: Own deployments, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, reliability, and LLM costs.
• Product Decisions: Work directly with the founders to decide what to build, how to build it, and what to prioritize.

🎯 Who We’re Looking For

• You’ve built and shipped at least one AI/LLM-powered product used by real users.
• Strong in Python or TypeScript , with experience in technologies such as React/Next.js, Node.js/FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.
• Comfortable owning features end to end, from idea and architecture to production.
• Can consistently commit 10–15 hours per week for at least 6 months .
• Bonus: Experience with real-time systems, voice/telephony, messaging APIs, or multilingual applications.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, moves fast, and thinks like a product owner, not just an engineer.

💰 What We’re Offering

• Meaningful founding equity: A portion allocated upfront through a formal founders’ agreement, with the remaining equity vesting over 4 years.
• Part-time commitment: 10–15 hours/week, fully remote.
• No salary initially: Compensation will be revisited once we generate revenue or raise funding.
• Real ownership: Significant influence over technical architecture, product direction, and engineering decisions.
• Global exposure: Work on products targeting businesses across Europe and the UK, with flexible overlap between India and European time zones.
