Graphic Designer / UI/UX Designer

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Graphic Designer / UI/UX Designer. The role involves designing visual assets for digital and print channels, including marketing materials, social media content, product visuals, and branding elements aligned with Mumuso and DUOZOULU brand guidelines. The designer will create intuitive user interfaces and user flows for websites, e-commerce platforms, and digital touchpoints, collaborating with marketing and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into clear, user-centered designs. Daily tasks include developing wireframes and mockups, refining design concepts based on feedback, preparing production-ready files, and ensuring consistency across all brand visuals. The role also requires staying updated on design trends, maintaining organized design libraries, and meeting deadlines while working independently in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Strong visual design skills with experience in Graphics and Graphic Design for digital and print media.
• Proficiency in User Experience (UX) and User Experience Design (UED), including wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design principles.
• Ability to create brand-aligned layouts, color schemes, typography, and iconography that support retail and e-commerce objectives.
• Experience using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch, or similar applications).
• Good understanding of responsive web and mobile design, basic knowledge of design handoff for development, and familiarity with design systems.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant graphic design and UI/UX work, preferably including retail, lifestyle, or e-commerce projects.
• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or a related field is beneficial; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
