About the Role
Synovize is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure for its clients. The role focuses on maintaining reliable network performance, improving existing systems, and ensuring secure network connectivity.
This is a fully remote, 12-month contract position that is renewable annually. The engagement is available on a C2C or 1099 basis and requires U.S. citizenship, along with an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement network solutions and improve the efficiency of existing networks.
- Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
- Conduct regular network performance testing and troubleshoot network issues.
- Maintain network security, performance, and connectivity.
- Support reliable network operations through effective configuration and problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a Network Engineer.
- Knowledge of network protocols, network architecture, and network services, including DNS and SMTP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional networking certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP.
- Familiarity with access control models and network security.
- Experience using network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $70–$95 per hour.
- Contract Type: C2C or 1099.
- Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable annually.
