About the Role

The Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and support cloud-native, API-driven applications using Python, JavaScript, AWS, and modern backend and frontend frameworks. The role requires strong hands-on development experience, an understanding of Agile delivery practices, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams.

This is a remote, W-2 contract position scheduled to end in April 2027. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python and JavaScript.
• Build backend services using Django, Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, SQLAlchemy, or comparable technologies.
• Develop frontend applications using Vue.js, React, Angular 1.6 or later, Svelte, or equivalent frameworks.
• Build and support cloud-native, API-driven applications on AWS.
• Collaborate with distributed development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Apply Agile methodologies and contribute to Agile delivery processes.
• Work independently to complete development tasks while coordinating with team members to meet project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 10 years of total professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least six years of hands-on full-stack application development experience.
• At least three years of cloud application development experience using AWS.
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with Django or an equivalent backend framework, such as Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, or SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with Vue.js or an equivalent frontend framework, such as React, Angular 1.6 or later, or Svelte.
• Experience building cloud-native, API-driven applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
