Lead AWS Cloud Security Engineer – AI Governance

We are seeking a Lead AWS Cloud Security Engineer to join a high-performing team within the financial services industry. This is an exciting greenfield opportunity to build and lead cloud security initiatives while developing and implementing AI governance frameworks from the ground up.

This role is ideal for a hands-on security leader who enjoys solving complex challenges, building new capabilities, and helping organizations securely adopt AI.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and implementation of secure AWS cloud environments.
• Build and establish AI governance frameworks, policies, and controls.
• Develop cloud security architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Implement security controls for AI/ML platforms and applications.
• Partner with engineering, risk, compliance, and leadership teams.
• Drive cloud security strategy and support the organization’s AI initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud security architecture and engineering.
• Proven experience building AI governance frameworks from the ground up.
• Experience with AI/ML security, risk management, and governance controls.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives in a greenfield environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
