Senior Marketing Operations & Insight Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Operations & Insights Manager to play a pivotal role in transforming marketing effectiveness through data, automation, and actionable insights.

This is an exciting opportunity to sit at the heart of a modern, technology-driven marketing function. You’ll work across Marketing, Sales, Data, Technology, and Operations teams to optimise marketing platforms, improve audience engagement, and drive measurable business outcomes.

You’ll be instrumental in shaping the organisation’s marketing operations strategy, leveraging AI-powered workflows, automation, and advanced analytics to enhance campaign performance, marketing ROI, and pipeline contribution.

Job Title: Senior Marketing Operations & Insights Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Central London (2-3 days on-site per week)

Salary: Up to £95,000 + benefits

The Role:

• Own and optimise key marketing technology platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Improve marketing processes, governance, workflows, and operational efficiency across the marketing function.
• Lead marketing data governance initiatives, ensuring high standards of data quality, segmentation, compliance, and customer data management.
• Develop sophisticated audience segmentation strategies, nurture programmes, and customer journeys to improve engagement and conversion.
• Design and implement AI-powered workflows and automation initiatives that drive productivity, personalisation, and marketing effectiveness.
• Establish performance frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to measure campaign success and business impact.
• Analyse campaign performance, audience behaviour, pipeline metrics, and marketing investment to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Technology, Data, Finance, and Leadership teams to deliver data-driven decision-making.

Experience Required:

• Strong experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Significant background in marketing operations, marketing automation, CRM, campaign operations, or marketing performance management.
• Proven success improving marketing effectiveness through audience development, automation, reporting, and process optimisation.
• Experience building segmentation strategies, nurture journeys, lead management processes, and campaign measurement frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience introducing or scaling AI and automation initiatives within marketing or commercial environments.
• Deep understanding of marketing technology ecosystems, CRM integration, data governance, segmentation, and campaign operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled marketing use cases, automation opportunities, and governance best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, project delivery, and change management capabilities.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive adoption of new processes and technologies.
