Job Summary

As a Software Developer, you’ll build and maintain applications that help users complete tasks reliably and efficiently. You’ll contribute across software design, web development, and application development, collaborating with teammates through Agile software development practices. Your impact: By designing scalable systems and dependable APIs, you help users access consistent, responsive services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software using suitable programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript and Ruby on Rails where appropriate.
• Design RESTful APIs and services; apply system design for system development, design patterns, and microservices principles to support scalability.
• Build front-end features and web applications using JavaScript frameworks, such as React or Express, as project needs require.
• Work with SQL databases, including MySQL, and contribute to cloud infrastructure and IT infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Linux environments.
• Use version control and CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment) tools, such as Git, GitHub, or SVN, and participate in Agile planning and reviews.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, software engineering, software design, or web development; demonstrate practical problem-solving and collaboration.
• Familiarity with APIs, REST, scalable systems, cloud infrastructure, and secure access practices such as role-based access control (RBAC).
• Relevant experience may include Java, C#,.NET, Python, C, C++, or VBA; expertise in every listed language or platform is not expected.
• Front-end development experience and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks are useful; specific tools may vary by project.
• Quantum engineering knowledge is a nice-to-have, not a core requirement.

Pay: $117,005.55 - $128,514.65 per year
