Title: Medical Coder - Entry Level(REMOTE)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder to join our team in a fully remote, work-from-home position. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of professional medical coding experience and a strong understanding of medical coding guidelines, documentation, and compliance requirements.
AAPC or AHIMA certification is Mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of professional medical coding experience.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet productivity and quality expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- AAPC or AHIMA certification preferred , such as:
- CPC – Certified Professional Coder
- CCS – Certified Coding Specialist
- CCA – Certified Coding Associate
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and coding software.
- Previous experience working in a remote medical coding environment.
