Bankruptcy & Restructuring Attorney – AI Consulting

We are looking to expand our team of expert consultants with 15 lawyers with experience in bankruptcy or restructuring. This is part-time, fully remote work supporting frontier AI research at top US AI labs. Projects start at $150–200 USD / hour, with higher rates for very well credentialed lawyers.

This role includes designing real world legal scenarios that challenge leading AI models, evaluating whether AI-generated reasoning meets the standards of a trained lawyer.

Who We’re Looking For

You are a practicing US attorney with 3+ years of recent or current experience in bankruptcy or restructuring.

Ideal backgrounds include

• Chapter 11 attorneys who have represented debtors, secured lenders, creditors’ committees, or ad hoc groups
• Restructuring lawyers with experience in out-of-court workouts, liability management transactions, or distressed financings, including DIP and exit financing
• Bankruptcy litigators who have handled preference and fraudulent transfer actions, claims disputes, plan confirmation fights, or contested 363 sales
• Consumer bankruptcy attorneys with substantial Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 practice
• Former bankruptcy court law clerks, and attorneys at the U.S. Trustee Program or other government agencies with bankruptcy experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent English reading and writing skills
• Based in the United States
• JD from a reputable law school and currently practicing
• 3+ years of recent experience in bankruptcy or restructuring
