Seasoned Restaurant Floor Manager

FLOOR MANAGER – LITTLE ITALY, LEICESTER SQUARE

Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum + Performance Bonus

Location: Leicester Square, Central London
Restaurant: Little Italy – Busy, Established Casual Dining

We are looking for an experienced, confident and hands-on Floor Manager to take real responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Little Italy, one of Leicester Square’s busiest Italian restaurants.

This is a role for a seasoned hospitality professional who leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to develop a team while delivering consistently excellent customer service.

The Role

• Take ownership of the restaurant floor, ensuring smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
• Lead, motivate, train and develop the multi-cultural front-of-house team.
• Maintain consistently high standards of hospitality, presentation and service.
• Cordinate between front and back of house teams.
• Take responsibility for staff performance, discipline, training and accountability.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints confidently and professionally.
• Work closely with senior management to improve service standards, efficiency and profitability.
• Be proactive, organised and capable of making decisions independently.

The Ideal Candidate

• Significant management experience in high-volume, casual dining restaurants.
• A confident, mature and professional leadership approach.
• A proven ability to train, coach and develop successful teams.
• Strong operational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable taking responsibility and being held accountable for results.
• Calm under pressure, commercially aware and genuinely passionate about hospitality.
• Someone who leads from the floor rather than from the office.
