Marketing Assistant

Bristol students — looking to build your marketing and content creation portfolio?

I’m looking for a creative student to collaborate with me on GalleyFuel, my Bristol-based meal-prep business designed around the busy lives of cabin crew.

Our focus is on convenient, flavourful meals for Bristol-based crew, with local delivery and a brand that understands life around a flight roster.

With our latest test menu photographed and trialled, I’d love to work with someone who can help bring the food and the story behind it to a wider audience.

You’d be getting involved in:

• Food and drink photography, including styling and presentation
• Creating and editing short videos, Reels and behind-the-scenes content
• Designing social posts and writing engaging captions
• Developing campaign ideas to reach Bristol’s cabin crew community
• Exploring what content connects with our audience and helps generate enquiries

This could suit someone studying marketing, photography, media or a related creative subject. You don’t need an extensive portfolio — enthusiasm, initiative and an eye for good content matter.

Your own camera would be a bonus, but a good-quality phone camera is absolutely fine. Some in-person time in Bristol would be needed for shoots, with editing and planning arranged flexibly around your studies.

You’ll have space to contribute your own ideas and create work you can showcase in your portfolio, with agreed credit for your contributions.

To be transparent: this is initially an unpaid, limited-scope portfolio collaboration, with the potential to develop into paid work as the business grows. Future paid work isn’t guaranteed, and we’d agree the scope and time commitment together before starting.
