Lead FS (Golang/React) Developer

For one of our clients based in Europe, we are currently looking for a Lead FS (Golang/React) Developer.

Job details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Contract duration: 12 months with extension
• Work model: Remote work with an initial onsite presence at the client’s office in the Czech Republic and on-site team sessions in Prague
• Working Hours: Must be able to overlap with US hours (minimum 2-6pm CET, preferred 2-7pm CET)

Scope:

• Lead the technical direction and architecture of the insurance fraud detection SaaS platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and configurability.
• Design and deliver backend solutions using Golang, collaborate on frontend development with React/TypeScript, and manage PostgreSQL databases.
• Drive AI integration to enhance fraud detection capabilities.
• Mentor and lead the development team, ensuring high engineering standards and timely delivery.
• Act as the primary technical liaison across global teams and resolve critical technical challenges.
• Promote engineering best practices, code quality, security, and continuous improvement.

Skills:

• 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in Golang, REST, gRPC, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Azure services (AKS, Redis, Blob Storage, CI/CD).
• Proven experience leading cross-functional or distributed engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Generative AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Cursor IDE).
• Experience with Meilisearch and multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD best practices.
• Strong focus on code quality, security, automated testing, and documentation.
