Role Description The WordPress Developer (Remotely_Project based) is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and digital products. Day-to-day tasks include building custom themes and plugins, configuring WordPress installations, optimizing site performance, and ensuring responsive and accessible user interfaces. The role involves collaborating with designers, product owners, and other developers to translate requirements into functional, secure, and scalable WordPress solutions. The WordPress Developer will regularly troubleshoot technical issues, implement best practices for SEO and security, and support integrations with third-party tools and APIs. Project-based work will require managing timelines, communicating progress, and delivering high-quality solutions aligned with client and company standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design.
• Candidates should possess solid Web Design and UX skills to create visually appealing, user-friendly WordPress interfaces.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills for WordPress, including PHP, MySQL, and API integration.
• Candidates should possess comprehensive Web Development skills related to theme customization, plugin development, and performance optimization in WordPress.
• Experience with WordPress CMS administration, security hardening, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple project-based tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication in English.
• Prior experience in a similar WordPress Developer role; a portfolio or examples of WordPress projects are highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
