Azure Ai solution Architect

We are seeking one hands-on architect to help an enterprise client review and accelerate its existing Microsoft Foundry deployment. The initial focus is secure integration with internal data and practical guidance for the client’s engineering team.

What you will do

• Review the existing Foundry architecture and private connectivity, identify gaps and recommend practical changes with the client’s technical lead.
• Define secure conversational access to on-premises SQL databases, ERP data and internal documents using appropriate Foundry and Azure services, including Azure AI Search.
• Validate key configurations and integration approaches hands-on. Document architecture decisions, dependencies and a phased implementation plan.

Core requirements

• Demonstrable hands-on Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI delivery, with examples of what you personally designed, configured and deployed.
• Strong Azure architecture and corporate-network integration skills, including private connectivity, identity and access controls, and troubleshooting across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Ability to design conversational access to structured data and document-retrieval solutions using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and explain the trade-offs between available Microsoft tools.
• Ability to assess an existing deployment, prioritize improvements and work directly with infrastructure, security and AI engineering teams. Clear communication and knowledge-transfer skills are essential.

Preferred experience

• GCC High or similarly controlled enterprise environments, including validation of service availability and access constraints.
• Microsoft Bicep / infrastructure as code; Azure AI Search, Foundry agents and Copilot Studio; evaluation of answer quality, latency and token cost.
